Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 21.50 billion through two issues on Sunday, 11 September.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 14 billion, holding a tenor of 91 days until 13 December 2022, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second issue stood at EGP 7.50 billion and will mature in 273 days on 13 June 2023.
On 8 September, the central bank offered T-bills worth EGP 31 billion through two tranches.
